REACH
Through this logo we inform our customers that all chemicals used in the manufacture of the products we market are properly registered and that our products do not contain harmful substances (SVHC).
The European Regulation 1907/2006, also called REACH, which stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, requires any company producing or importing chemicals into the European Union to submit a dossier to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), a competent body of the European Union based in Helsinki, Finland. The dossier shall provide information on the hazards, risks and means of reducing the risks from the use of the given chemical. Following the evaluation of the dossier, the European Chemicals Agency will list the substances and grant (or not) the manufacturer or importer an authorisation to place the substance on the market in the European Union. The Regulation also applies to substances contained in certain products.
The REACH Regulation, together with the CLP Regulation, are the two pillars of the European Union's policy to protect the health of workers from exposure to chemicals.
