ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATION DRUM

Description

With proper feeding, the electromagnetic drum separates the materials spread over its non-magnetic shell into two categories: magnetizable and non-magnetizable. It can be used for larger material sizes compared to dry magnetic drum separators. The material passes over the magnetic drums. The non-magnetizable parts pass through—depending on the drum’s rotational speed—without being affected by the magnetic field. The magnetizable parts are held by the force of the magnetic field generated inside the drum and are discharged once they reach the zone where the magnetic field ends.
