Advantages

  • Drum shell made of stainless steel sheet.
  • Adjustable scraper blade angle.
  • Easily adjustable drum speed with an AC-DC motor.
  • Electrical control panel can be used separately or integrated with the machine.
  • Production capacity certified with CE and ISO 9001:2008 certificates.

Description

The dry drum separator consists of an ultra-powerful magnetic drum with a non-magnetic shell, using either high- or low-intensity magnets (depending on demand and the material to be separated) and a permanent magnetic assembly. With proper feeding, it separates the material spread over the rotating shell into magnetic and non-magnetic fractions. Thanks to their special design, dry drum separators can be easily installed on production lines without interrupting production. They reduce energy consumption and labor costs, as their design does not require excessive power or manpower. The material is fed onto the magnetic drums. The non-magnetic parts drop into the front compartment according to the drum’s rotational speed, without being affected by the magnetic field. The magnetic parts are held by the magnetic field generated inside the drum and are discharged through the rear chutes where the magnetic field ends.

It is used in facilities such as food, mineral processing, plastics, recycling plants, etc.

Operation

The machine generally consists of a carrier chassis, a feeding unit, a feeder, a magnetic drum unit, a geared motor, and a control panel. The product flows onto the vibrating tray via the feed hopper. It is evenly distributed by the vibrating tray and, when it reaches the magnetic drum, the non-magnetic material is rejected with the help of centrifugal force and directed into the non-magnetic material chute. The magnetic material continues to be carried over the roller under the influence of the magnetic drum until it is released from the drum’s magnetic force. Once released, it is directed into the magnetic material chute.
