Description

These separators remove magnetic material from the product stream, increasing product purity and productivity—especially in applications where a high level of product cleanliness is required. Wet drum separators are available in models with magnetic field intensity according to demand and are capable of separating very fine and weakly magnetic materials, even from dense media.In addition, these separators can be used in processes such as coal washing and beneficiation. Thanks to their special design, wet drum separators operate smoothly during continuous production without interrupting the process. These machines save energy and labor due to minimal power consumption and a design that requires no special pre-processing.They are designed for different flow types depending on the ore to be cleaned. The slurry ore is fed through the collector feeder into the tank of the wet magnetic drum separator. From there, it is influenced by the drum’s magnetic field and adheres to the surface of the drum shell, while all magnetic minerals are collected in a separate tank due to magnetic polarization along the direction of drum rotation. Since non-magnetic materials are not attracted to the magnetic drum, they are discharged out of the machine through the outlet collector.
