Just magnets… We have the solution for every magnetic fix you need!
Countersunk pot magnets are powerful magnets fitted inside a steel cup/housing with a countersunk hole for a screw. The magnet’s force is concentrated at the rim of the cup, which increases its holding power. A pot magnet achieves its strongest adhesion when it is in full contact with a steel surface, but it can also “hold” from a distance of a few millimeters.
It can also accept a countersunk (conical head) screw for mounting on virtually any material. Countersunk pot magnets are very popular in areas such as industrial applications, magnetic door stops, sensors, non-destructive testing applications, and more.
These pot magnets are not rust-resistant when exposed outdoors. However, they can be painted. We also offer pot magnets made from a samarium–cobalt (SmCo) material combination, suitable for very high temperatures up to 350°C. Such products are specially marked. In addition, we offer ferrite pot magnets for more economical, light-duty applications.
For optimal installation of pot magnets, special metal counterplates with a countersunk hole are used, available in all sizes.
